The living room and kitchen open onto the terrace and the beach. Electricity and water included, with no metered bill at the end. We live five minutes away.

Good to know

The bedrooms Two sea-facing bedrooms, each with a private ensuite. Wake to soft light on the water and a view that runs straight to the horizon. The living space An open living room and fully equipped kitchen flow onto the terrace and down to the sand, so the beach becomes part of the house. Outside Sunbeds and beach chairs on the sand, a paddleboard for calm mornings, and a shaded sala for long afternoons and golden-hour cocktails. The swimming Mornings are best, when the sea is calm and clear. Bang Por draws back at low tide, so afternoons are for sunbeds and the shallows, which little ones tend to prefer anyway. For families Calm, shallow water out front, with a baby crib and playpen available on request. Eating in We hold the villa’s food and alcohol licences, so a private chef can cook for you here properly. Most guests do it at least once. Tell us what you like and we’ll arrange it. The details Fast WiFi, air conditioning throughout, beach towels, parking at the door, and electricity and water included. Check-in is private and self-guided, so arrive whenever your flight lands.

Other Details to Note

Booking with us directly You save 10% on the platform rate, with airport transfers both ways included. No booking fees, and you’re dealing with us rather than a support queue. Travelling as a group Ona, our second villa, is two minutes along the same sand. Two bedrooms, both ensuite, with a private pool. Families and groups often take both, which gives you four bedrooms across two houses and nobody sharing a bathroom. Tell us your dates and we’ll hold them together. The neighbourhood Bang Por is a quiet residential stretch of coastline. We ask guests to observe quiet hours from 10pm to 8am, and the villa isn’t suited to parties or events. The road As with every beachfront villa on this coast, the island road runs behind Swell, so you may hear some passing traffic during the day. Step through to the terrace and the waves take over. The beach dogs A few gentle beach dogs are part of life on Bang Por and will probably say hello on your walks. They’re friendly and harmless, so we ask that you don’t feed them or invite them inside. Registration Thai law requires us to register all international guests with immigration, so we’ll ask for a photo of each passport before arrival.

Accessibility and Availability

Neighborhood

THE AREA Bang Por is the quiet side of Koh Samui. An uncrowded stretch of the north coast looking across to Koh Phangan, with sunsets over the Ang Thong Marine Park and a beach you can walk along to half a dozen restaurants with your feet still sandy. Day to day, everything is closer than it looks. Convenience stores, pharmacies, fruit stands, laundry and ATMs are all a few minutes away. Maenam has the banks and the bigger supermarkets, and its Thursday walking street is worth building your week around. For a proper evening out, Fisherman’s Village in Bophut is about fifteen minutes down the road.

Guest Access

The whole villa is yours, along with the stretch of beach directly in front of it. Sunbeds, beach chairs and paddleboards are there for you to use, and there's parking at the door.

Mae Nam, Surat Thani, Thailand

GETTING AROUND A car or scooter is the best way to see the island properly, and we can have one delivered to the villa before you arrive. For everything else Grab works well here, and when you’d rather not think about it at all, Pon, our driver, is a message away. Songthaews run along the main road if you want the local version. The airport is about thirty minutes. What changed: the middle section was a shopping list of amenities, which reads as inventory rather than hospitality. Now each paragraph makes a claim and then backs it. And “worth building your week around” does more work than “worth timing” because it tells them to plan around it rather than merely notice it.
